Professor of Electrical Engineering at University of Warwick / Royal Society Industry Fellow in Power Electronics
I am looking for a PhD researcher in Power Electronic Devices and Converters to support me on a UKRI funded project in power electronics. You will be joining a world class research group at the University of Warwick with expertise in Silicon Carbide Device Technology.
You will have an academically sound undergraduate degree (a strong MSc would be an advantage) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics with some experience in practical analogue electronics, PCB design, PCB assembly, Electrical/Electronics system analysis, circuit design/assembly/testing and Circuit/device simulation. Experience in microcontroller programming and coding would be an advantage. You will be comfortable in a Lab and enjoy working with circuits, devices etc.
The PhD will be fully funded at the University of Warwick along with a stipend.
