We're looking for inspiring people with warm personalities to join our fundraising team in Shropshire, working to make a difference to support local wildlife/environment. You will be part of a growing team of passionate and well-informed face to face fundraisers, who inspire people to support the work of SWT by becoming members.

South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd (SWWFL) is wholly-owned by 8 Wildlife Trust Charities and is excited to be working in partnership with SWT. We're seeking passionate, patient, self-motivated, fun-loving, hard-working people with resilience and heaps of determination to join our new team across Shropshire.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing and inspiring, is passionate about supporting local wildlife, and is looking for flexibility and a sense of purpose in their working life.
Responsibilities:
1. To inspire members of the public to become supporters of Shropshire Wildlife Trust by giving affordable monthly donations.
2. Working at a wide variety of pre-booked venues and events including shows, events, garden centres, farmers markets, retail stores and corporate locations with full support of our branded marketing display to engage members of the public with confidence. (No street or door to door fundraising)
About you:
* Valid driving license and access to a car/van essential.
* Experience of sales or fundraising is ideal but full training will be given for the right candidate.
* Outgoing, driven with the confidence to approach people to strike up a conversation.
* Must be able to work at least one weekend day each week.
* Love nature and wildlife and passionate about making a difference.
* Enjoy working outdoors and at multiple sites.
* Self-starter with a resilient "can-do" attitude.
* IT proficient with great communication skills both verbally and written English.
* Goal-driven to achieve and exceed targets.
Rewards:
* Employed role: an enhanced rate £14 per hour during 3-month probationary period or uncapped realistic commission - whichever is the greater amount over the pay month. Average earnings £30 + per hour for high performing recruiters.
* Temp contracts also available over the summer season.
