Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEND provision in the Tyneside area (North Shields), who are seeking a full time Care Assistant to work with pupils with a variety of additional needs.
The role will require you to support with classroom based tasks and also work on a 1:1 basis supporting children with a range of special educational needs including:
1. Learning disabilities
2. Social and Emotional Difficulties
3. Autism
Our client is happy to consider candidates with a passion for education who come from care work backgrounds as the role may require you to carry out personal care. Candidates with qualifications in Health and Social Care, Moving and Handling and Counselling Skills are also highly desired. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and passionate team.
Teaching Personnel can offer competitive rates of pay of £425 - £490 per week as well as the opportunity to upskill your professional development by utilising our CPD Academy. You will also be supported by our specialist SEND Team who have strong knowledge of the current market and education sector.

To be accepted for this role, you must have an enhanced DBS that is registered on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
