Job Title: Microsoft 365 Engineer (x2 positions) Job Location: UK Flexible Location (Remote) Salary: £43,350 to £57,500 per annum based on 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent Could you become our Microsoft 365 Engineer responsible for transforming the way we work, owning M365 and collaboration services across the British Red Cross for staff and volunteers? In this role you would be part of our End User Computing Team, and cover a diverse range of enterprise collaboration services and technologies with the objective of ensuring that users have a positive and consistent experience whether working remotely, from their home, an International office, or a British Red Cross site. As a Microsoft 365 Engineer a the British Red Cross you will: Create and manage Policy Packages for meeting settings, messaging, teams apps settings and manage organisation-wide settings for sharing, guest access and resource accounts. Manage Teams via the Admin Center, the Teams PowerShell module and the Teams Graph API Plan and manage the lifecycle of Teams (creation, operation and deletion) Plan and manage the governance of Teams (permissions, naming conventions, guest access, templates and monitoring) Use PowerShell to manage Teams and SharePoint and Power Automate to reduce administration overhead, and speed up delivery to users. Work with colleagues to integrate Microsoft and third party apps with Teams to support collaboration. Discover and analyse third party collaboration services in use and either match the related user needs to a Microsoft 365 solution or work to onboard and integrate third party services to improve user experience, and reduce risk and the cost of support and administration. To be a successful End User Computing - Collaboration Services Engineer, you’ll need: Ability to manage the entire lifecycle from initial request to onboarding, configuration, and continued delivery of high-quality Enterprise collaboration services, including Egress Secure Workspace, Microsoft Office 365 (such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Planner), Atlassian Confluence, Miro, Mural, Zoom, and Dropbox. Strong product knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 and the Microsoft M365 suite, including Office 365, Enterprise Mobility and Security, and Windows Enterprise. Demonstrated ability to assess user needs and deliver continuously improvement of enterprise-level collaboration services and technologies. Ability to track and improve meaningful user experience metrics Experience of developing policies, standards, and procedures relating to collaboration technologies and services.
