Role Overview:
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse at MPS Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and support. You will work closely with NHS Wales Health Boards, healthcare facilities, and institutions across Wales, providing your expertise to ensure patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with various mental health conditions.
2. Conduct assessments and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
3. Administer medication and monitor its effectiveness, ensuring patient safety.
4. Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to promote recovery and stability.
5. Conduct therapy sessions, offering support and education to patients and families.
6. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
8. Keep updated with medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
* Valid and active NMC Registration.
* Minimum 6 months proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
* Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Empathetic, caring, and dedicated to patient care.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and decision-making under pressure.
* This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check, which MPS Healthcare can process for you free of charge if you are not on the DBS Update Service.
