Regional Operations Manager
£50,000 + Bonus
Glasgow / Renfrewshire and Ayrshire
This is a regional role, based onsite, covering 3 sites with time equally split between locations across East Kilbride, Ayrshire and Renfrewshire.
Role Overview
An experienced and results-driven Regional Operations Manager is required to oversee and optimise the performance of three healthcare retail locations. This role is key to ensuring operational excellence, maximising profitability, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading teams to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
* Ensure consistent and efficient operations across all sites.
* Monitor and evaluate store performance metrics, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance store performance.
Team Leadership
* Lead, coach, and support store managers and their teams to deliver exceptional service and meet sales targets.
* Conduct regular site visits to provide guidance, address challenges, and implement improvement strategies.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Financial Management
* Oversee regional budgets, analyse financial reports, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
* Drive revenue growth by developing strategies to increase footfall and optimise product offerings.
* Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock while minimising excess and wastage.
Customer Experience
* Ensure consistently high standards of customer service across all locations.
* Address escalated customer concerns promptly and effectively.
* Gather and act on customer feedback to enhance the overall experience.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
* Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to operational and safety protocols.
* Oversee staff training to ensure alignment with company and industry requirements.
Strategic Planning
* Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with business objectives.
* Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve productivity and customer engagement.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Area Manager, or similar role in healthcare, retail or a related field.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
* Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and analysing financial performance.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
* Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
