Overview
Media Executive Competitive + Benefits Filleigh (Devon) Based - Hybrid Reporting to Associate Media Director/Media Manager
A little about us…
Bray Leino is a creative and communication Agency that drives growth through creativenergy, by going beyond, to find the most powerful way.
It’s the way we began back in 1973. Before email, before mobile phones, when London was still 6 hours by road, our founders set up shop in a gloriously rural part of the UK. It’s how we grew into a full-service global agency. And it’s how we still look at the world now.
Creativenergy is the force that makes us think, create and work differently to our competition. It’s what makes us a thriving powerhouse of free-range thinkers, creators and makers. And wherever we are in the world, connects us all back to one common ambition: to use creativity to make businesses grow.
Role
About the role:
We’re recruiting for a Media Executive to join our Media team. Our highly experienced team is made up of media and communications planners, strategists, and channel specialists responsible for media trading. We cover a diverse range of channels, both online and offline, including print, digital, out-of-home, radio, cinema, and TV, as well as creative media solutions and partnerships. Additionally, we work with clients as part of a ‘full service’ in conjunction with the Bray Leino creative offering, as well as media-only business and working with clients directly.
As a Media Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the line manager and the broader team to ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of media accounts. Your responsibilities will include researching media opportunities, supporting the preparation of proposal documents and campaigns, and gaining hands-on experience in negotiating advertising space and managing bookings.
Our head office is based in Filleigh, North Devon. We are currently working a hybrid model with everyone attending the office twice a week. Our office is a stunning old rectory surrounded by rolling fields. Due to the rural nature of our location, it’s beneficial to be able to drive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To aid the line manager and wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of media accounts.
2. Develop a thorough understanding of all media channels, their roles and uses within an advertising campaign.
3. Assist in researching media opportunities, reporting, helping to plan proposal documents and campaigns.
4. Develop experience in negotiating advertising space, booking, and administration.
5. Put together media reports and documents (e.g. competitive, post-campaign analysis) and interpret data to provide useful insights.
6. Keep up to date with current media communications thinking, grow and apply knowledge and experience to all media planning requirements undertaken.
7. Learn to assess the value of different media opportunities in the context of the client’s business.
8. Help manage invoicing and client billing.
9. Organise, co-ordinate and attend media owner meetings to aid learning of channels.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic individual who embodies a confident and positive attitude, with a strong desire to grow and develop within the media industry. The ideal candidate is proactive and committed to building a successful career, eager to take on new challenges and learn along the way.
As a fast learner, you adapt quickly to changing environments and tasks. Your organisational skills enable you to manage your time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently when needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, as you will use these tools to support your work and contribute to our team’s success.
