We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Officer to help Ickworth Estate take forward the delivery of selected projects and feasibility work. These have arisen from the 10-year master plan we are currently developing. The projects and feasibility work will focus on buildings conservation and visitor infrastructure. With a brand-new spatial plan and project pipeline, rapid growth in visitor numbers and an ambitious team, this is an exciting time to be contributing to Ickworth’s journey. As one of a multidisciplinary team of experts, including curators, fundraisers, building surveyors and project managers, you’ll be working with others to help make things happen. Your contractual location will be Ickworth Estate, but our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other places. What you'll be doing As a Project Officer at Ickworth, you’ll be contributing to the delivery of projects such as the conservation of an historic monument and the delivery of estate-wide seating improvements. However, most of all, you’ll be leading on feasibility work that will take us towards implementing the first improvements from our 10-year master plan. You will work in collaboration with colleagues at Ickworth, as well as other project managers and consultants. You’ll also work with external partners including local groups and statutory bodies.
