Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we are Outstanding and this is reflected in the services we offer. We want to continue to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be with dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.
The Hartlepool Psychology team is a very well respected, dynamic and creative service recognised both in both Hartlepool and regionally in the North East. Our service is focused on meeting the needs of all our children and young people, striving to promote inclusive practice and continuously working to support positive outcomes with our partner services.
As a service we are responsible for the statutory EHC needs assessments, but most of the team’s work is delivered through traded services at the early intervention stage. We have well established Service Level Agreements with almost every school in the borough, and our plan-do-review model of service delivery is highly valued. In addition, the team is involved in a wide range of projects linked to national and regional priorities.
The team has strong links with the doctorate training course at Newcastle University, and there is a long-established commitment to supporting Trainee EPs at all levels.
We are seeking individuals to lead this successful team who will embody our organisation's core values: creative, aspirational, respectful, inclusive, nurturing and genuine, in order to drive positive change and shape a better future for our children, families and community.
