You will drive the safe, effective and efficient running of the department across its multiple sites. You will drive improvements within the service, share learning and best practice across the department and respond to patient feedback and complaints.
It's a really exciting time to join the team as we are expanding and developing new services and locations to better serve the communities we work within. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of the department. We are advertising two new Deputy Outpatient Manager positions; they will have a lot of similarities, however, one has more focus on managing our operational teams and processes, while the other looks more at developing our services and support team. So you may like to review both of the job descriptions; you are welcome to apply for both!
This position is ideally full-time (37.5 hours per week), but part-time will also be considered (minimum of 30 hours per week required).
Main duties of the job
You will be the point of contact for all on-the-day concerns from patients or staff; therefore, problem solving, relationship building, and people management skills will be instrumental to the role. Our clinics operate from Monday to Saturday, and this position will be included in the rotational management coverage on Saturdays.
It is essential that you have excellent attention to detail, can prioritise and organise your own workload, create efficient and effective workflows, exercise initiative and independent judgement whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.
