Prospero Teaching are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Primary School Teacher to join a lovely, welcoming and inclusive school in Southampton (SO15). The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Year 5/6, managing complex behaviour, and supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As a Primary School Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Year 5 students. Manage complex behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support students with SEND, implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching methods as needed. Build strong relationships with pupils, fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and reports. About you: Strong classroom management skills, particularly in managing complex behaviour. Experienced in working with students with SEND. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
