An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed CBT Therapist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the South West London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This is one of the country's leading mental health treatment centres. They provide fast access to high quality treatment for various conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.
**To be considered for this position you must be registered with the HCPC**
As the CBT Therapist your key responsibilities include:
* Working in the outpatient team to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) assessment, formulation, and treatment to clients.
* Working closely with relevant other professionals as appropriate.
* Communicating in a skilled and sensitive manner information concerning the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans to clients.
* Undertaking risk assessment and risk management of service users.
* Providing CBT-based assessment, formulation, and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
* Managing a clinical caseload in accordance with operational policy.
* Attending monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
* Ensuring high levels of clinical governance, including all documentation as required by the service.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Doctoral Clinical/Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or working towards this, or registered health professional and BABCP Accredited.
* Assessed experience of working as a qualified CBT therapist.
* Experience of working in mental health delivering CBT treatment.
* Able to deliver interventions to a wide range of clients.
The successful CBT Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 - £44,000 pro rata. This exciting position is a permanent part-time role working around 22 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
