Electrical Design & Proposals Engineer - hybrid The company provides industrial automation and materials handling solutions including robots to the food, automotive and logistics sectors. They have an exciting role for Electrical Design & Proposals Engineer to help develop concept designs, and costings and keep the business up to date with new technologies through R&D and trials with suppliers who are developing their products and technology. The individual will develop into this role as their automation and robotics knowledge and experience extends. It would suit an experienced electrical design engineer with knowledge of the food or automotive sector. The Role Can be hybrid working from home 2-3 days per week A varied project workload of multiple simultaneous projects as at any one time you could be working on an automotive project, food industry project and logistics project. Producing electrical design schemes and project costings Part of the multi-disciplined engineering design team Collaborate closely with key suppliers such as Siemens Rockwell, Allen Bradley, ABB Robots Carry out site surveys Requirements The role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer, Automation Engineer, Project Engineer or Controls Engineer. Electrical design experience is essential HNC in Electrical Engineering is essential Experience working in the food or automotive manufacturing sector would be useful Package £30K - £52K DoE 25 days holiday and full benefits package
