Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Lead to join our team at the Nestle Product Technology Centre, responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of cutting-edge packaging technologies and concepts. This role will play a crucial part in driving profitable growth within our product category, while ensuring alignment with our global, zone, and market business plans. Additionally, the Packaging Lead will provide expert support and training to our operating companies, as well as develop a strategic vision for packaging and cultivate talent within the business. A day in the life of a Packaging Lead As a Packaging Lead, your day will be filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to showcase your innovation, technology, and leadership. You will be the key contact for Confectionery Packaging R&D, leading a multi-functional team to develop and execute the packaging strategy, integrated into the Science and Technology Roadmaps aligned with the innovation pipeline. Leading and developing a high-performing team of packaging scientists and project managers will be crucial, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery. You will influence project prioritisation based on value-creation and alignment with global strategy. People development will be a significant focus, leading a multi-functional team to meet business needs, fostering a culture of networking and collaboration. You will coordinate the cross-functional organisation between the Nestle Product Technology Centre and Nestle Development Centre to ensure alignment on packaging strategy and innovation. What will make you successful? To be successful, you will need a strong educational background in packaging development and project management, along with extensive line management experience in the packaging or engineering field. Requirements include: Graduate qualification in Packaging or Printing Technology, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
