We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst within the Project Controls team. This role will be based in Coleshill. Our head office is based located within an excellent location easily accessible via the M6 and M42. The office is also accessible via rail, we offer employees a shuttle bus transfer to our office from Birmingham international. Role description: To support the Construction teams and Performance Managers in reporting delivery performance against the baseline programme and other Key Performance Measures. Timely and accurate reporting of production measures and metrics for area of responsibility (Section of Sublot). Create weekly production update report for the whole project. Data validation and analysis. Review and interrogate the planned production programme to ensure it is developed by the sublot teams to the required quality to report and control delivery. Effectively using IT and systems as a key enabler for gathering and timely and accurate reporting on programme performance. Implement and monitor compliance against defined processes and standards, including HS2 requirements. Experienced required Expertise in managing data sourced from databases and in Excel. Analytic skills to interrogate data, identify trends and performance improvement measures. Some site experience and an engineering knowledge. An understanding of the construction industry, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements. Report writing, presentation skills and an excellent communications skill. Aptitude for logic and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of stakeholders and customers. Degree qualified within a relevant discipline (i.e. Civil or Structural Engineering). The role would ideally suit candidates with site engineering or construction planning experience, who have good aptitude for data handling and analysis.
