Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities, ensuring they receive the highest standard of rehabilitation services. Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with paediatric patients, is highly desirable.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical issues and develop appropriate treatment plans.
2. Implement tailored physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
3. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards and regulations.
6. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in physiotherapy to enhance service delivery.
Experience
1. A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification is essential.
2. Previous experience working in a hospital environment is preferred, especially in paediatrics.
3. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care practices is required.
4. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
