Learning Disabilities & Autism Service – Supporting Independence and Well-Being
Join our Learning Disabilities & Autism Service (Moving On Service) and play a vital role in shaping the future of young people with learning disabilities and autism as they transition into adulthood. You'll work across both children’s and adult services, ensuring a smooth, positive start for individuals on their adult journey.
We prioritise your well-being by offering a supportive work environment, flexible working arrangements and clear career progression paths. You’ll benefit from a robust induction programme, access to a range of training and peer support sessions, ensuring you continue to develop your skills while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
As an Experienced Social Worker, you will manage a varied caseload, conducting Care Act Needs Assessments using strength-based, person-centred approaches. You’ll work closely with colleagues from health, education and partner agencies to support young people and their families, always promoting independence and the least restrictive practices.
With a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience, a DipSW or equivalent qualification, and Social Work England registration, you’ll be equipped to help individuals live as independently as possible. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in the community while advancing your career in a forward-thinking, supportive team.
Join us to make a difference in the lives of young people while growing in a dynamic and evolving service.
