Windlesham, Surrey (site-based) with flexibility to attend projects in London and the Home Counties

We now seek a Project Leader to join our Science & Higher Education Division on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Project Leader, you will oversee the consistent delivery of a range of construction projects, by leading the full project lifecycle.
You will develop and implement a project strategic plan and workflow, including contractual obligations and required resources. You will mitigate risk so that projects are delivered safely, within timeframes, within budget and to agreed standards.
Emphasising quality and safety, you will implement a safety-first culture for all staff and sub-contractors, whilst monitoring team compliance with our quality management systems and our clients requirements.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Ensuring correct systems are in place to issue design information
- Leading project procurement strategy and delivery
- Implementing commercial and procurement risk mitigation strategies
- Establishing and maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders
- Overseeing the environmental impact of site activities
About You
To be considered as a Project Leader, you will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Previous construction experience in the science and/or higher education sector would be advantageous
- The ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity
- A hands-on leader
- The foresight to plan, manage and coordinate all resources needed to deliver the project
- Extensive experience working in operational, live environments
- Extensive temporary works, scaffolding and logistics experience
- Knowledge of safe work systems
- Strong knowledge of programme management and control
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
