As a Days Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out both preventative and corrective maintenance on site, safely and effectively. Working in partnership with the production team, the Maintenance technician will ensure the plant performance is maintained to the highest standard. What youll be doing To undertake all prioritised and planned maintenance work, ensuring production downtime is minimised whilst also upholding and exceeding standards of safety. To undertake preventive and corrective tasks. (PM and Breakdowns) To undertake engineering project work and assist with new installations or refurbishments when required. To provide engineering support to the production teams Ensure the CMMS is accurate, and the data inputted to a high standard. Actively engage with CI (workshops, kaizen, 5s, etc) What wed love for you to have: We are interested in you as a person, your attitude, behaviours, and values. If you have any of the following this would be an added advantage: A completed apprenticeship with demonstratable working experience in a related field. A strong technical knowledge and hands on experience of maintenance process/activities Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft 365 applications Experienced in the application of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures Demonstrable achievements in Continuous Improvement, Change Management disciplines, tools and techniques and evident motivation to impart these to others. Proactive mind-set and good time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team whilst working within deadlines Be assertive and have self-confidence in presenting and supporting conclusions.
