We are looking for a Transport Service Manager to manage a busy division of the Company. The ideal candidate will come from a transport or logistics background and have experience in managing staff and scheduling.
Main Duties
1. Managing the candidate process from initial inquiry through to placement
2. Managing temporary and contract driving employees
3. Proactively sourcing new potential opportunities
4. Achieve monthly/weekly sale KPIs
5. Maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for proactive recruitment needs for the Company
6. Ensuring your clients’ recruitment needs are being facilitated in the best possible ways
7. Keeping up to date with current market trends within the recruitment and transport industry
8. Keeping up to date with transport and driving regulations
9. Manage transport advertising
10. A proven track record in leading end to end recruitment cycles
11. Scheduling staff and shift rotas
12. Working with high volume workloads
13. Working with tight deadlines
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with clients at all levels
15. The ability to work under pressure
16. Being available 24/7 on emergency call for the division
17. Manage and maintain an accurate client and employee database
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
1. Good levels of education
2. Previous experience in transport or logistics scheduling
3. Knowledge of driving regulations
4. Previous experience of managing a recruitment desk would be an advantage
5. Experience in managing staff
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell concepts and ideas
7. Must have a clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
