To develop and lead the implementation of a strategic communications plan delivering high-quality coverage and resources to capitalize on high awareness of the power of personal music to help dementia and increase it further. You will support our work to empower people in communities to create and use playlists, encourage people to support our work through donations, undertaking training, or sharing our message. To line manage and develop the Communications Officer, and collaborate with the wider team to deliver the strategy. To protect and enhance the reputation of the charity through proactive and reactive media relations management, stakeholder engagement, and campaign management.

Playlist for Life is the UK’s leading music and dementia charity. We are seeking a Communications and Campaigns Lead to join our small but highly skilled team to improve the lives of people living with dementia, their families, and carers through personalized playlists.
Playlist for Life has a simple vision: we want everyone with dementia to have a unique personal playlist and for everyone who loves or cares for them to know how to use it.
The Communications and Campaigns Lead will play a key role in our team to develop and lead the implementation of a strategic communications plan to elevate our brand and help us increase our reach and impact. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and skilled individual that has empathy with our aims, a strong understanding of the sector we operate in, and is driven to make a difference.
You must have empathy with Playlist for Life’s aims, values, and objectives and a strong understanding of the sector Playlist for Life operates in. Understanding the third sector and best practice in communications and marketing is essential. You will ensure a consistent ‘tone of voice’ for the charity and ensure its messages are delivered uniformly across platforms to maximize impact.

Minimum Requirements:
* A track record of successfully managing people, tasks, and using your initiative.
* Proven experience of office-related computer software (e.g., Office 365, MS Teams).
* Creativity, drive, and the ability to implement innovative ideas to improve working practices.
* A keen eye for detail with a proven track record of producing high-quality work.
It would be great if you also have:
* Experience of contractual, statutory & legislative requirements relative to the role, including SSSC Codes of Practice & Care Inspectorate standards.
* Experience in working in social care or the third sector.
