We are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to join the team, reporting into the Head of Compliance.
What you'll be doing
You will manage the daily operations of the compliance function to monitor regulatory compliance across the organisation.
You will directly manage 4 people and will also oversee the following:
* Ensure appropriate internal oversight is established in accordance with FCA guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
* Act as a liaison point with regulators during the absence of the Head of Compliance, ensuring Senior Management are informed of any key actions required.
* Support reporting and management information for the Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee, and senior managers.
* Provide support to the DPO and legal team in monitoring compliance with GDPR-related privacy regulations and national data protection laws.
* Manage business compliance updates in accordance with changes in regulations.
* Manage authorisations with the FCA.
* Support the Head of Compliance in managing awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements and the role of the compliance function.
* Support the Head of Compliance in monitoring and reporting on compliance issues to ensure the delivery of good outcomes for customers.
* Deliver changes to risk or regulatory compliance framework following updates.
* Interpret complex regulatory requirements and implement practical, compliant solutions.
* Manage the second line Assurance Monitoring Plan.
* Oversee Compliance team activities to deliver the compliance plan and support to the business.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
* Provision of and advice to the business on compliance and regulatory matters.
* Experience in the practical implementation of regulatory requirements.
* Understanding of the FCA handbook, especially in complaints, financial promotions, and conduct of business.
* Experience in managing complex compliance cases.
