We are looking for a Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) Data & MI Analyst to join Insurance Money and Services. You will be part of a newly formed team providing support to Transformational Change and Agile Practices - there isn’t a more exciting time to join. You'll do this by enabling and facilitating the delivery and daily running of reporting needs. Manage, monitor and maintain day-to-day reporting and its delivery processes. Implement standardisation of processes through increased automation and continuous improvement. If you have a keen analytical mind, an ability to gather, analyse and present information in an engaging way enabling fast flow of value with quality, then this is the role for you.
What you’ll be doing
1. Collate and analyse data trends using pre-set tools, methods and formats for use in reports to help guide decision making. Involves working independently to reach appropriate conclusions, make suitable recommendations and provide technical guidance.
2. Prepare and coordinate various data and analytics reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting that data into a digestible understandable standardised format. Conduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends using business intelligence tools.
3. Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required. Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
4. Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to acquire, organise, protect and process data to fulfil business objectives.
5. Support collection of business requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
6. Collect and create content/best practices/case studies to capture and share knowledge to share.
7. Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

10. Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. For example, tailors’ communication content and style to the needs of others.
11. You will have experience of using data visualisation software to support and deliver complex reports across the organisation. Presenting information in a clear, concise and understandable format.
12. Works at an intermediate level to conduct activities to collect, analyse, diagram (model), and report information and data flow, including state changes, to help make strategic decisions, achieve major goals, and solve complex problems.
13. Works at an intermediate level to utilise the appropriate modelling tool(s) to diagram the requirements from data and state changes, process and process improvements, as well as use cases and user stories.
14. Works at an intermediate level to conduct gap analysis between current and future states to identify components of the overall change strategy.
15. Great people skills, ability to build strong, effective working relationships. You will be flexible in your approach and be able to manage changing priorities and demands.

16. Experience in tracking budgets, costing and forecasting and report variances to more senior colleagues.
17. Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to organisation's goals. For example, leverages insights to shape and drive critical initiatives.
18. Proficiency in project management tools including but not limited to JIRA
