We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed 2ic Curriculum for English to work alongside our Curriculum Leader of English to ensure an excellent provision for our young people. Guiseley School is passionate about its English language and literature department, and we are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our students. The successful candidate will have some experience in managing staff and leading a team of specialised teachers in ensuring we appropriately challenge our students and drive a passion for English. In addition to this, having experience of teaching, marking or resourcing A level is highly desirable. This role also offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with our Assistant Headteacher on a whole school reading strategy. A recruitment and retention payment will be considered for the right candidate.
