First Aid Management/Leadership Training e.g. ILM More about the Senior Construction Manager role Review and assess project programmes, budgets, and plans, taking corrective actions to meet company objectives. Ensure all project aspects are reviewed, and actions are planned in a timely manner. Contribute to project proposals, providing accurate workload forecasts. Verify project information before budget settlement and construction start, resolving discrepancies. Forecast training needs within the department. Ensure H&S and environmental plans are prepared and adhered to during the construction phase. Prepare and maintain detailed construction plans, logistics, and strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Maximize commercial performance by ensuring quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery. Expedite pre-construction and off-site activities, ensuring resources are organised. Set up sites, ensuring necessary licenses and notices are in place. Motivate and manage teams to meet project objectives and promote company values. Build strong relationships with the supply chain and consultants. Oversee project execution in line with construction procedures, cost control, and quality standards. Manage WIP release process, tracking deliverables and reporting risks to senior management. Support Construction Director in monthly CVR meetings and reviewing quality reports. Attend meetings, provide clear instructions, and ensure project alignment with sales targets. Manage recruitment, appraisals, performance monitoring, and disciplinary matters in line with company policies. Ensure a discrimination-free work environment and address employee needs.
