Role: Staff Nurse – Acute Medical Ward Location: London: The Wellington Hospital Working Hours : Full time: 37.5 hours per week Contract Type – Permanent Salary: Competitive and Excellent Benefits Join Our Team as a Staff Nurse – Acute Medical Ward Due to recent expansion, we are seeking highly motivated Staff Nurses to join our acute nursing team on our newly opened 14-bed dedicated Acute Medical Ward at The Wellington Hospital—the UK’s largest private hospital, rated “Good” by the CQC. This ward supports our on-site Acute Admissions Unit, providing exceptional care to medical patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Staff Nurse on our Acute Medical Ward, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualised care plans, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible treatment tailored to their specific needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide continuous monitoring and clinical support to patients with acute medical conditions, responding swiftly to changes in their condition and escalating concerns when necessary. Your role will also involve administering medications, assisting with diagnostic procedures, liaising with consultants and allied healthcare professionals, and supporting patients and their families throughout their hospital journey. Beyond direct patient care, you will contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, helping to maintain and enhance the high standards of care we uphold.
