Park Surgery is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HR professional to take the lead in all aspects of human resources within the practice, helping to shape a positive and efficient working environment.
This will be a part-time role of 20 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Manager and GP Partners for HR, supporting key areas such as recruitment, retention, staff engagement, and HR process management. They will oversee the day-to-day HR operations within Park Surgery, ensuring best practices are followed.
A key part of the role will also involve training and guiding Line Managers on HR-related matters, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage their teams.

The practice serves a patient population of 24,000 with 95 staff working across two sites in Herne Bay. We are a training practice and host registrars, medical students and trainee nurses.
Job responsibilities
The post holder will be a key member of the management team, responsible for Human Resources (HR) in the areas of induction, review, appraisal, retention, development, staff engagement and the day to day HR requirements of the Practice. In addition, the post holder will provide the management and leadership skills necessary to train and develop Team Managers in various aspects of HR, as appropriate to their roles and duties.
The role will focus primarily on leading the HR element for the Practice. The post holder will work with the Practice Manager, ensuring that employees receive the guidance and support they require whilst in our employment.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a stand-alone role and be able to demonstrate an ability to review, develop and implement HR policies, including performance management procedures.

* Experience in primary care/NHS/caring profession
Qualifications
* Evidence of continued learning and development
