About The Role
About the Role
Here at LVFS, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Equity Release Adviser to join our growing team.
Within this exciting new role, you will develop new and existing business for LV=FAS Ltd, by providing professional, independent, client-focused advice from the whole of the market.
Our offices are in Bournemouth and Hitchin - we’d like our successful candidate to be able to work from either office occasionally, but this can be discussed.
About You
Our ideal candidate will…
1. Be a tenacious, committed individual who is keen to make a difference and get stuck into this role – an entrepreneurial, thinking outside the box attitude is advantageous!
2. Be a natural problem-solver, with the ability to work calmly and accurately when under pressure.
3. Have gained previous experience in a regulated environment, and in equity release (essential).
4. Possess excellent numeracy and IT skills.
5. Demonstrate expert negotiation skills and the ability to work to meet deadlines.
6. Exhibit self-motivation and strong organisational skills, together with excellent time-management abilities.
7. Readily establish and build positive relationships with the wider team and stakeholders.
8. Possess relevant Regulatory Qualifications - full CEMAP & Equity release CF1, plus CPD records are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include…
1. Providing customer-first equity release advice via customer fact-find calls, ensuring that each customer fully understands all specific options available to them, including lump sum, drawdown, and interest-only lifetime mortgages.
2. Identifying where other solutions may be better for the client, and highlighting these appropriately.
3. Maintaining and continually developing your skillset and knowledge of financial services, ensuring that changing needs of members are met (you will also achieve and maintain competent advisor status, in line with the T&C scheme).
4. Competently analysing MI and using this to improve performance and conversion.
5. Achieving individual objectives and contributing to the delivery of the overall business plan, including ideas and initiatives to further improve the service offered to our members.
6. Providing detailed customer recommendations based on their individual needs and objectives.
7. Meeting behavioural standards as set out in our balanced Scorecard and your personal objectives.
8. Contacting pre-qualified appointments and conducting outbound call activity, ensuring appointment volumes are maintained where necessary.
9. Supporting the Retirement Admin Team to ensure a positive customer journey from application to completion.
10. Assisting with the training and development of skills and knowledge to the wider team, occasionally acting as a coach to new equity release advisers during induction periods.
