As an Anti-skid or High-friction Surfacing Operative, you will play a key role in our operations. Based at our Airdrie depot, you will join our dedicated teams who work Scotland to deliver top-notch anti-skid surfacing services. Your responsibilities will encompass:
Responsibilities
1. Quality Workmanship: Execute resurfacing projects to exacting standards, leaving no room for compromise on quality.
2. Safety Champion: Lead by example by ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures for you and your crew.
3. Well-Equipped: Make sure that your team’s equipment and trucks are meticulously maintained, fully stocked, and ready for action.
4. BBA Standards: Ensure that all your work aligns with BBA (British Board of Agreement) standards, upholding our commitment to excellence.
5. Flexible Schedule: Be prepared to work nights, weekends, and undertake projects in the scenic highlands of Scotland.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experienced: Bring a solid background in surfacing operations, demonstrating a high level of expertise.
2. Team Players: Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, as well as engaging with customers effectively.
3. Detail-Oriented: Possess an acute attention to detail, leaving no aspect of your work to chance.
4. License Holders: Hold a valid driving license (mandatory) and an LGV license (preferred). If you don’t have an LGV license, worry not—we can provide training.
5. NVQ Surfacing: Ideally, you will have an NVQ Surfacing qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
6. CSCS Card: Hold a CSCS card as a testament to your commitment to safety.
(License checks will be conducted as part of the pre-employment process)
