Job Purpose:
To provide strategic financial management and business partner support, ensuring alignment with business goals, driving improvements in financial processes, and maintaining robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Financial Management:
o Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
o Collaborate with senior management to identify cost–saving initiatives.
o Streamline the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Financial Reporting and Analysis:
o Understand and support the production of detailed management accounts.
o Analyse financial data for insights and recommendations.
o Develop and monitor KPIs to measure success.
o Assist in preparing variance analyses and financial results commentary.
o Lead the preparation of technical papers in consultation with advisors.
* Team Leadership and Development:
o Support and develop finance team members.
o Delegate responsibilities for team efficiency and career development.
o Identify training needs and support professional development.
* Systems and Process Improvements:
o Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes.
o Drive the adoption of advanced technologies for accuracy and efficiency.
o Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
* Project Involvement:
o Act as a financial lead on business projects.
o Enhance collaboration between finance and other departments.
* Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
o Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners.
Key Qualifications:
* Qualified/ finalist accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA
* Proven track record in strategic financial management.
* Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
* Experience with financial systems and process improvements.
* Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Ability to work effectively in a cross–functional team environment.
