The successful candidates will support the Work Placement Team Manager in planning and preparing work placements across the College curriculum, ensuring all learners receive an outstanding experience. We have the following vacancies, each working term-time only (38 weeks per year) Full-time (35.5hrs weekly – 8:30am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8:30am-4pm Fri), fixed-term until July 2025 at North Lindsey College. Pro rata salary - £21,450.40 - £22,522.08 per annum. Part time (22.5hrs weekly – 8:30am-5pm x3 days per week, days negotiable), permanent at Doncaster College. Pro rata salary £13,595.33 - £14,274.56 per annum. Part-time (30hrs weekly – days negotiable), permanent at North Lindsey College. Pro rata salary £18,127.20 - £19,032.74 per annum. Full-time (35.5hrs weekly – 8:30am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8:30m-4pm Fri), permanent at Doncaster College. Pro rata salary £21,450.40 - £22,522.08 per annum. Key Responsibilities: Organise and Develop Work Placements: Support the Work Placement Manager and Team Leader in organising and developing new and existing work placements. Health & Safety Assessments: Conduct Health & Safety assessments of work placement settings and address any issues/concerns. Student Support: Assist with briefing meetings, DBS checks, and distribution of relevant documentation to providers. Database Maintenance: Help develop and maintain a database of employer and commercial/industrial links. Communication: Effectively communicate with the Work Placement Manager/Team Leader and other team members. Monitoring Progress: Monitor the progress of work placements and address any issues that arise. Essential Criteria: Relevant qualification and good IT skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. Experience working with the 14-19 age group and within the education sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High levels of organisational and planning skills. Ability to work under pressure and use initiative. Flexibility to meet the varied demands of the post. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Owner of a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
