Your Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for embedding knowledge and understanding of the Flood and Water Management Act (2010) and ensuring the delivery of actions set out in the Local Flood Risk Management Strategy (2016) and Surface Water Management Plan (2016).
You will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, councillors, and other client officers, to interpret complex technical information and explain it in non-technical terms. Your ability to build effective working partnerships and collaborate with external stakeholders will be essential in achieving our goals.
Our ideal candidate will have a suitable water or environmental qualification or equivalent (minimum HNC, however, Degree level would be advantageous). You should have experience in managing people and performance, as well as building effective working partnerships and working with external stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of flood risk management and contribute to the success of our team.
