Job summary Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Psychological Therapist 37.5 hours (part time hours can also be considered). We are looking for a psychologist/psychological therapist tosupport the development of this new service innovation, to enhance the provision of psychosocial interventions within the community, for individuals with difficulties associated with substance misuse. Main duties of the job This role involves supporting drug and alcohol key workers in the delivery of psychosocial approaches. You will carry out psychological one to one and group work interventions with individuals accessing CGL services. You will also support CGL staff and promote psychological thinking via multidisciplinary meetings and through case formulations. You will also be involved in supporting senior psychological therapists with the ongoing scoping and development of supervision processes to support drug and alcohol key workers in the delivery of psychosocial approaches.
