At The Business Growth Network Ltd., you'll play a vital part in expanding our membership and exhibition sales across the UK. This hybrid role lets you work from our Cheltenham office and from home, providing the work-life balance that suits working parents.
Role Overview: As an Event Sales & Marketing Executive, you’ll be responsible for helping to grow our membership base and promote exhibitions. Your duties include following up on sales enquiries, launching marketing campaigns, and building lasting client relationships. In addition to driving sales, you’ll also manage event projects and work towards visitor targets to ensure each event’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promptly handle sales enquiries over phone, email, and online channels.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service.
* Drive revenue growth through upselling and identifying new business opportunities.
* Develop targeted marketing strategies to attract new members and promote existing events.
* Serve as the primary client contact during the booking process, managing expectations and handling logistics up to the event handover.
* Track payments, liaise with key accounts, and maintain rapport with clients.
* Support other areas of the business as needed, contributing to team success.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A working parent seeking a flexible schedule (no students)
* Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
* Organised, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
* Strong self-discipline and ability to follow processes
* Committed to high standards of customer service
* Experience in hotel, event, or sales settings is preferred but not essential

Pay: £14.05-£15.45 per hour
