Programme Manager
Salary within the range £41,808 to £48,093 per annum, pro rata if part time
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year but requests for part-time hours will be considered
This dynamic role is integral to the delivery of Suffolk New College’s successful and ambitious programme of capital developments, partnership programmes and employer collaborations, as well as our growing commercial training offer. The College has built a strong reputation for project and partnership working and is embarking on an exciting growth journey, which the successful postholder will support with excellent budget, project and claims management skills.
The postholder will work closely with the Director of Business Development and Major Projects to deliver the College’s ambitious programme of major projects and commercial training. Providing a programme management function, the successful candidate will actively manage and report on budgets, manage claims and funder compliance for external projects, project manage smaller projects which require a coordination function, and support our commercial training with cost modelling and commercial income analysis. The postholder will have a key role internally, but will also liaise with external stakeholders and partners.
Suffolk New College is a multi-campus college, therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses. This role will be split mainly between the Suffolk Rural and Ipswich campuses, but you may be expected to work sometimes at our On the Coast locations in Halesworth or Leiston.
Due to the nature of this role access to personal transport is essential. If using your own vehicle, it is a requirement for your car insurance to cover business use and evidence of this will be requested by finance before any travel claims are paid.
At Suffolk New College, we promote the culture of BeSNC. Implementing BeSNC is not just a choice; it's a commitment to providing the best possible environment for our learners to thrive. It's a commitment to nurturing an inclusive and supportive community where each student, staff and community member can reach their full potential.
