The Role:
As a Forensic Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering expert forensic accounting services to clients, providing financial analysis and investigative expertise in matters including fraud investigations, litigation support, and dispute resolution. You will be working closely with legal teams, businesses, and regulatory bodies to provide critical insights that support complex financial cases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct forensic investigations, including fraud detection, asset tracing, and financial misconduct reviews.
2. Analyse financial records and transactions to identify discrepancies and irregularities.
3. Provide litigation support, including the calculation of damages and financial loss assessments.
4. Assist in fraud risk assessments and the implementation of preventative measures.
5. Liaise with clients, solicitors, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders.
6. Keep up to date with relevant legislation, industry trends, and best practices in forensic accounting.
Candidate Criteria:
1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant.
2. Previous experience in forensic accounting is essential.
3. Strong financial analysis and report-writing skills.
4. Proven ability to maintain strong client relationships.
5. Experience managing junior team members would be beneficial.
