Planet Mark is owned by Alcumus and sits as a stand-alone division within the Alcumus group alongside the Safe Contractor Division and the ISOQAR division. Alcumus is a successful and globally expanding enterprise with a longstanding commitment to promoting safer and more sustainable workplaces.
We are looking for an inspiring, purpose driven and experienced Account Manager with a passion for sustainability and providing outstanding customer service. This role will involve developing a close and trusted relationship with the organisations within our Planet Mark community, ensuring their needs are met and identifying solutions to their sustainability challenges, strategically growing the Account base.
What that means day to day
* Managing day-to-day relationships with our members from onboarding to renewal.
* Acting as the members’ champion within Planet Mark, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
* Possessing an in-depth understanding of the operational processes and services provided by Planet Mark.
* Adopting a solutions-based approach to the upselling of additional services to meet the sustainability challenges facing our members.
* Growing the financial value of their members portfolio annually.
* Ensuring conflict resolution is swift and beneficial to both parties.
* Ensuring our member responsibilities are understood and acted upon – data provision, payment of invoices etc.
* Ensuring member retention targets are met annually.
* Support multiple members needs concurrently.
* Working across the entire Planet Mark team.
What you’ll need to be successful
* Previous Account Management experience in an energy supply, sustainability strategy, business strategy or management consultancy role.
* Have an infectious passion for supporting businesses on their net zero sustainability transition.
* A purpose driven, solutions-based approach.
* An inspirational self-starter.
* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
* Great interpersonal skills matching our values of; Ambition, Collaboration, Optimism, Being Robust and Transformative.
* Ability and capacity to grow in the role as the business and account management department evolves.
