Description The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water’s region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. LI-KP1 Responsibilities Create a project culture that delivers exemplary Safety, Environmental and Quality performance Deliver the customer & investor outcomes Lead on a production driven delivery approach–ensure production processes are embedded and all opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement are utilised. Produce a project execution plan and deliver work to the agreed efficiencies by applying Production, Digital transformation and other initiatives. Develop, implement and apply project controls & robust commercial management. Develop people, behaviours and principles–lead on the transformation needed to work differently. Ensuring that the key deliverables within each stage of the project are being administered to the highest quality Development of strong team working relationships Qualifications Degree Qualified in Civil / MEICA / Construction Management 10 years Experience of delivering design and build, large construction projects Collaborative leader Confidence to challenge Stakeholder management skills Ability to make agile decisions A collaborative leader with proven ability to deliver multi-disciplined work, aligned with SPA strategies in logistics, production, design, assembly, SHEQ, reporting and digital creation. Can deliver design and build construction products to time, cost, quality, carbon, HSE targets in line with customer and owner outcomes. Experienced in leading and delivering large scale projects of work including water infrastructure, or large-scale linear projects, and in leading multi contractor, multi-disciplined teams, unifying them into an industry leading delivery team. Can demonstrate the ability to outperform against a tight budget through effective programme development, risk and opportunity management and use of production and innovation. Experience in stakeholder management; including customers, client, site operators, landowners, utility companies and statutory authorities. Ability to review information, consult with relevant persons and organisations to make agile decisions.
