We provide services to clients in different industries.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with substantial experience working in an accountancy practice.
This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, overseeing junior team members, and delivering high-quality financial and advisory services. This role offers to work with a diverse client base.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements and reports for a variety of clientsManage and maintain client accounts and records, ensuring accuracy and compliancePrepare VAT returns and assist with tax computationsLiaise with clients to resolve queries and provide financial adviceSupport directors with ad-hoc tasks and projectsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsAssist in the preparation of management accounts and financial forecastsProvide strategic financial advice to clients, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.Provide training and support to junior staff membersSkills & Qualifications:Essential:Fully qualified ACCA/ACA.Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an accountancy practice.Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. TaxCalc, Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients.Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.Solid IT knowledge and adaptability to new technologiesDesirable:Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms and emerging technologies in the industry.
