The successful candidate will provide efficient, effective administration support to all recruitment and onboarding process for Police officer and Police Staff. You will be responsible for delivering a responsive and customer focused advice and guidance service to all internal and external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction meets the requirements of all parties. Our Talent Acquisition team work to tight deadlines and are responsible for the overall recruitment process for current and potential new candidates therefore the successful candidate must be willing to Adapt to unexpected changes and be able to prioritise workloads. Key Responsibilities: To ensure all work carried out enhances customer satisfaction and meets the requirements of all parties. Provides high quality customer service, including interacting with managers, colleagues and candidates, answering queries effectively and signposting staff to resources and information as appropriate. Undertakes a broad range of clerical and administrative duties covering all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding processes, which is consistent and legally compliant, in support of our People Strategy and the Plan on a Page. Attend meetings when required to undertake notetaking duties and following up of action. Assists the supervisor and senior professional staff with implementation of changes, working closely with customers and colleagues, promoting a positive customer focus and ‘can do’ culture within the department. Maintain and update HR database systems and e-recruitment system, ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format. Taking ownership of data quality and integrity of information when inputting, amending and extracting information and ensuring compliance with GDPR. What the role requires: Experience of working in a customer orientated field Qualified to or working towards CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience of working within a HR Team Experience of maintaining databases and researching data from computerised recording systems. Excellent communication skills Computer literacy/keyboard skills Excellent organisational skills Ability to work with minimum supervision when required. Carries out tasks in an accurate and methodical manner with an eye for detail. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to prioritise workload.
