We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to lead on initiatives which enable all students within the OHA community to access high quality education including students with SEND, persistent absence or the need to learn outside of the classroom.
Sitting within the Senior Leadership team (SLT) and line managed by the Vice Principal: Classroom Practice, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain or further their experience of whole school leadership and development.
Responsibilities Include
1. Coordination of GL Assessments across the academy (this will include NGRT & PASS assessments)
2. Analysis of GL data
3. Oversight of interventions based on GL data (KS3)
4. Enabling the provision of quality first teaching for students with SEND
5. Enabling the provision of quality first teaching for students with persistent absence
6. Enabling the provision of quality first teaching for students who access learning outside of the classroom
7. Classroom Practice coaching & ECT mentoring
8. Leading whole school CPD
9. Assessing students on entry to the academy
As a Member Of SLT You Will
1. Attend daily SLT briefings and weekly SLT meeting
2. Carry out pastoral duties within the academy
3. Quality Assure lessons and provide colleagues with feedback
4. Demonstrate superb communication and interpersonal skills

6. Inspire, challenge, motivate and empower others to carry the vision and values of our academy

Teachers will have the opportunity to liaise with colleagues at other Ormiston Academies to support strategic development, share good practice and plan collaborative activities. They will take part in regular internal and external CPD opportunities.
