The Role:
Review construction schedule that incorporates information from system design and engineering, plan to accomplish project goals and provide leadership to the subcontractors while reporting to the site management and project management.
Develop effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members to ensure successful, timely completion of deliverables that support the project goals.
Monitor and oversee electrical work at the project site to ensure it meets contractual obligations. Ensure projects are built according to plans created and submitted as well as to their standards.
Cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Quality, HSE, and all support functions as needed.
Review all contractors' QA plans & procedures and bring all plans into conformance with project requirements, supported by the project team.
Conduct audits of site conditions and equipment installation of subcontractors on the site. Perform audits of the job sites to verify accurate completion of scope of work in accordance with the quality plan and HSE plan.
Identify and communicate all application and installation concerns. Communicate concerns back to site management for required resolution and future issue prevention.
Responsibilities:
1. Proven track record in the construction of large-scale solar projects.
2. Electrical qualifications or relevant degree.
