Job summary The elective recovery Admin Assistant role is a newly created, temporary role to support additional activity being run by the department in its efforts to recover elective services following the distruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to additional activity being run, additional admin support is required. You will work closely with the rest of the admin team and the operational management team to ensure additional clinics are booked fairly and equitably such that the longest waiting patients are offered treatment first. The Dermatology department are also trialling new and exciting virtual pathways to ensure patients get the right treatment by the right person at the right time and the admin assistant for elective recovery will lead the additional administration related to these virtual activities. Main duties of the job The post holder will be expected to provide administrational service to the Royal London Hospital Dermatology Service on a fixed term basis to support the department's elective recovery efforts. The role will range from handling patient queries, making appointments, clinic management and additional administrational duties for virtual pathways.
