Job Description
The Client:
A leading global financial services firm is looking for 5PQE+ employment lawyer to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a highly skilled team of lawyers, providing expert legal advice on employment law matters.
* Key focus on non-contentious and contentious employment law related matters across EMEA, including recruitment, performance management, terminations, restrictive covenants, immigration etc
* Supporting with contractual matters
* Work closely with their People Operations teams to develop and improve employment processes and procedures
* Opportunities to serve as a legal advisor on a wide variety of business initiatives and transactions across the region both inside and outside the employment law area, with a strong focus on London/EMEA
* Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments.
* Managing and liaising with external counsel when required
Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate will be a 4+ PQE employment lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or in-house.
* Prior experience advising on non-contentious and contentious matters would be advantageous for the role.
* Financial services experience is not a prerequisite
* Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
*Candidates outside of this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
