The UK Group is a dynamic business growing both organically and by acquisition. The UK Group currently operates from over + locations with a central UK finance and administration function based in Bradford.
THE POSITION
The Credit Control manager oversees a team of both geographically dispersed and centrally based credit controllers. The continued growth of the group is as such that there is now a need to increase the central team of 14 staff.
The accounting system is an industry specific package called MAM. This is a windows system and is intuitive for users familiar with any other windows based accounting package. Training will be provided as required.
Areas of responsibility will include:
1. Contacting business customers when payment is overdue
2. Negotiating repayment plans if people are in financial difficulties
3. Setting up and maintaining customer files (HO)
4. Processing payments
5. Starting legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed time (HO)
6. Liaising with internal businesses
7. Produce & send collection letters (HO)
8. Assist in the notification of new business acquisition customers of changes in ownership (HO)
9. Bank reconciliations
10. Producing customer statements
