PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Provide specialist support in process and metallurgy engineering.
Summary Of Key Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:
* Conduct pre-feasibility studies and liaise with business units (i.e. Refinery, fabrication, evaluation, and service yard) mandatories, interpret requirements, and offer valuable input to projects.
* Develop and update operating procedures, update P&ID, and create MOCs for process modifications and input into project initiation or project scope.
* Preparation of PFD, process functional descriptions, control philosophies, and business case for improvement projects.
* Ensure all designs are correct so that assets delivered to RRL function seamlessly and are within budgetary limits. Provide support for unique or non-repetitive engineering design solutions most appropriate for the required outcomes.
* Perform efficient project management from design to implementation, adhering to timelines, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure that all projects are managed in accordance with the Stage-Gate Governance Procedure.
* Ensure that resources are being used within the financial constraints set for the project, helping to prevent cost overruns and maintain financial control.
* As a Junior Process Engineer within a project, oversee, guide, and support the team to ensure effective performance and a harmonious work environment.
