We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team and undertake a range of business support duties, financial procedures, ordering and invoicing, as well as including liaising with individuals, families and other professionals/agencies whilst maintaining the Lancashire County Council core values of Equality and Diversity and demonstrating a high standard of customer care.
As a day service covering Lancaster & Morecambe, we provide a wide range of day time opportunities and supports for adults with disabilities within the area.
You will need good organisational and communication skills, enjoy interacting with a wide range of people and be open and friendly whilst maintaining a professional approach.
As this post has a key role in all aspects of service delivery, the ability to maintain confidentiality, work flexibly, use your initiative, working independently as well as part of a team are also required.
As a BSO you will be the first point of contact for our service, providing a vital link whilst supporting the staff team and managers in their roles.
Whilst the core tasks of the role are largely systems led, our priority is to deliver a high quality service which is people led, designed to meet the needs of individuals and their families. At times this will require the whole team to adapt to changing priorities and to work effectively together to achieve positive outcomes.
Please ensure you have uploaded and attached your supporting statement to evidence how you meet the criteria for the role. The panel may be unable to shortlist you for interview without this evidence.
