The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Woodsperson to join our small, friendly, and established team, at a very exciting time in the history of woodland management of the Estate. The work is varied and covers all aspects of woodland management, in predominantly broadleaf woodland. Duties include: - Planting, maintenance and establishment of new and recently planted trees. - Thinning and small-scale harvesting / woodland restructuring. About You You will need: - A minimum of 2 years experience in woodland management, including the use of associated machinery. The ability to demonstrate a wide range of silvicultural (the growing and cultivation of trees) skills and knowledge. - A good health & safety awareness. - A passion for the outdoors and working in this environment. - The ability to learn and develop new skills and work safely within a team. - A full clean driving licence and own transport, as we are in a rural location, with no public transport links.
