This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to manage the end-to-end supply chain for a fast-paced food production environment. Position: Full Time, Permanent. Salary: £35,000 KPI's Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 5:30 Location: Manchester (Onsite) Key Responsibilities: Align ingredient supply and demand forecasts with production and commercial strategies to ensure seamless operations. Effectively manage procurement and stock levels of raw materials to support multiple fast-paced food production lines. Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization. Coordinate weekly national and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Monitor and manage transport costs to optimize logistics expenses. Oversee stock levels of raw materials in third-party warehouses, balancing inventory needs with cost efficiency. Collaborate with stock controllers and runners to facilitate smooth production preparation. Plan daily production volumes, considering operational limitations and customer demand provided by the demand planner. Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the Group. Person Specification: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Experience in supply and demand forecasting with a strong understanding of ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement and inventory management. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.
