Production Team Leader Pension: Yes standard 3% employer and 5% employee Hours: Monday to Friday 8-hour shift pattern rotating each week, covering earlies, afternoons and nights. (No weekend work) Holidays: 25 days The role: We are seeking a production team leader to join our busy production department to lead a team of production workers. The main duties of the role will include the following: Manage and lead a team of production workers to ensure production targets are being met ensuring quality, costs and customer demands are being met. Working alongside other departments and managers to ensure health and safety is always implemented and shift handover is completed. Planning rotas, managing the workforce including disciplinary action, managing holidays and sick leave and ensuring cover is always provided Working towards targets and always trying to make improvements through KPI monitoring and reporting, including weekly audits. Recruitment of new staff members including training, development and conducting regular reviews. About you: Previous experience as a production leader in a lean manufacturing background is a must. Excellent planning, management and problem-solving skills. Must be a strong leader with excellent communication skills. A proven track record in recruiting, training and developing production personnel. Proficiency in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
